Epinephrine

I did my first grade IV climb last Friday with Eric Frye. The climb, named Epinephrine in Black Velvet Canyon of Red Rocks, consisted of 2000 feet of 5.9 chimneys, faces and cracks. It was the shit, especially the chimneys. It is an awsome, exposed and vulnerable feeling looking down at your last piece of protection 20 feet below and 1000+ feet of air below that. We hiked off in the dark but the distance lights of Las Vegas kept things visible. I created this image from another website. It is not us - it is two other climbers on Epinephrine.
