Mt. Elden
It’s really cool living so close to Mt Elden - she gives up new secrets everytime I explore. Recently, some trail artist(s) made fun trails and stunts.
Soggy Bottom Trail? Rarely are trails soggy around here. Dusty Bottom may have been a better fit, but whatever, the trail is fun and just up the hill.
A 30 minute hike from home gets me here.
On the way home, back down the canyon, I noticed this brilliant small tree.
I remember thinking - that looks like a walnut tree… a few days later while playing on boulders, I found a larger version with hanging nut pods! I cracked a few open - walnuts! killer!
